Dr. Amit Jain is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, Punjab. He is graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He secured Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He has completed his Ph.D in the field of Network Security and Cryptography from Shri JJT University, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, India. He is in teaching profession from more than 16 years. He has presented number of research papers or articles in various National and International journals, conferences and symposiums. Also, he has published five patents including two Design Patents in different domains. His main area of interest includes Network Security and Cryptography, Data Mining, Digital Image Processing, Wireless Sensor Networks and Internet of Things. He has also authored a book titled Data Mining: Concepts and Techniques having valid ISBN number. He have also been awarded by ISTE Best Teacher Award for four different years (2014, 2016, 2022, 2023) by Indian Society of Technical Education, New Delhi, India. He is also Life Time Member of two professional bodies viz. Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers and Indian Society of Technical Education.
